What happens to my identification document with an ID Check?
A company with a DataChecker licence, can check your identity card via the DataChecker platform. To do this, the company needs to have your permission.
Via DataChecker your identity document is checked for security features and other data, such as validity. In some situations, companies have a legal obligation to do this. Other companies have an interest in doing a check to prevent fraud. The document is only used for checking and this is done in a secure environment. The company that carries out the check is the only company that has access to the document and the data. Your identity card will be removed directly from the platform, unless otherwise agreed. Do you want to make sure that the document has been deleted? Then contact the company that carried out the check via DataChecker.
