Working holiday Program/ Working Holiday Scheme
The Working Holiday Program (WHP)/ Working Holiday Scheme (WHS) is a cultural exchange program for young adults from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New-Zealand, South-Korea and the Netherlands.
What is the WHP/WHS?
The WHP/WHS gives young adults between the age of 18 and 30 the possibility to get a taste of the culture and society of the participating countries.
The participation of Japan & Taiwan
Japan and Taiwan are going to participate in the WHP/WHS exchange program upward of the 1st of April 2020. It’s about an international exchange program, young adults from the participating countries can go to Japan and Taiwan as of the same date, with a maximum of one year.
The Dutch residence permit
The Dutch government provides young adults from the WHP/WHS program a Dutch residence permit for the maximum of one year. With this permit the young adult can execute incidental labour for sustenance.
