Below, for each sector, is the reason and the applicable inspections. The sectors marked with an arrow have their own page with the full story.
New employees often start at short notice, sometimes from abroad. Identity and employment rights must be established before someone starts work, and remain verifiable as long as you retain the file.
Temporary employment sectorLarge volumes and short turnaround times, with candidates registered today and on an assignment tomorrow. The control system must keep up with that speed without steps being dropped.
Flex workPeople who stay for short periods and work at varying locations. With every assignment, you want to know that you are dealing with the same person, without them going through the entire process again.
Financial servicesAccepting customers remotely requires establishing who a person is without them visiting in person. Their identity is the foundation upon which the rest of your customer research rests.
Logistics and deliveryDelivery drivers work alone, outside the office, and often through subcontractors. You want to know that the person delivering the package is really the person you checked, even a month later.
Employees visit vulnerable people at home or on the ward. In addition to identity, the VOG and registration in the BIG register, and staffing often changes per shift.
People from multiple parties are present on a construction site at the same time. For chain liability, you must be able to demonstrate who everyone is and whether they are authorized to work there, including in the case of seconded personnel.
During a viewing or key handover, you are letting someone into a property that does not belong to you. For a tenant or buyer, you want to know who is signing, and in mediation, this includes client due diligence.
Cleaners work outside office hours and at client locations, often through a chain of clients. Checking beforehand prevents you from discovering on-site that the file is incorrect.
Many seasonal workers, rapid influx, and peak workloads. You want to be able to schedule someone on the first day without identity checks turning into a bureaucratic process spanning several days.
Personnel who drive or work at stations are often seconded and have rotating schedules. During an inspection, you must be able to show, for each person, what you have determined and when.
Teachers, mentors, and internship supervisors work with minors, and schools also hire a great deal of staff. In addition to identity, the VOG and the competence, and for international students also the residence permit.
